I am an artist and producer. I enjoy using abstraction to interpret landscapes and environments, using materials and mark-making to produce dynamic, layered paintings which hold within them a sense of rhythm and flow. I experiment with different ways of making and am interested in multidisciplinary approaches.

 

 I am inspired by art’s potential to connect us to what we like, the world around us and each other. I am interested in how it can be used to express ideas, atmosphere and emotion.

I believe that creativity is an important part of all our lives, in so many ways. I have a background of working with participatory art, including in healthcare settings and around Scotland. I most enjoy working collaboratively, with scope to be responsive and adapt projects and value a person-centred approach.​

In my spare time I love making art, running, learning BSL and playing music (usually guitar).
